HPE Standard
The name Scharnhorst has been synonymous with wooden packaging and packaging materials since 1858. Our wooden packaging materials are manufactured in accordance with the HPE standard and fulfil all legal requirements. The wood is treated in our own drying chamber in accordance with IPPC. We ship our wooden packaging to all locations in Germany, either for self-assembly or already fully assembled.

HPE certified wooden packaging
EVS is a member of the Bundesverband für Holzpackmittel, Paletten, Exportverpackung e.V. and has been manufacturing all packaging materials in accordance with the HPE standard for over 150 years. From simple bases to crates and oversized wooden crates, we serve our customers throughout Germany. Each packaging material can be customised. Corrosion protection for 6 or 12 months, tilt and impact indicators, strapping with steel band or special markings are just some of the options. Quick release box
Our snip-snap crate is not only quick to assemble, but also has a lot to offer. The biggest advantage: after transport, it can simply be folded up and returned to save space. This saves space, money and nerves, especially compared to bulky plastic containers, which usually have to be transported back in their full size.
Instead of plastic, we use wood – durable, robust and sustainable. And if something does break? No problem. Individual parts can be replaced quickly without having to dispose of the entire crate. This makes them not only environmentally friendly, but also really economical.
